NOVA24's

Here is the SuperNova24 race boat today.
Owner- Mark Robinson      year/builder 1968/Nova Marine        hull# SuperNova race boat
Pasadena, MD                               Purchase date - July 2009
Here is a special Nova24.
Owner- D.J.      year/builder - 1968 / Nova      Marine hull # - 2404
Fort Lauderdale, FL            Purchase date - 1995
This Nova24 was found 10 years ago with trees growing out of it but it was all there. It still has the original rebuilt Holman / Moody engines with jack shaft Vee-drives set up. 25K later and D.J. laughingly says it floats and runs. It looks real good to us. Most notable about this Nova24 is its hull # 2604. #2401 thru #2403 were Nova Marine race boats and #2404 was the first boat sold to the public. After 35 years it finally had to go to the paint shop and should be re-done soon.
From the first Nova24 to almost the last one built.
Owner-Craig Stanfield          year/builder 1971/Nova Marine Hull#24122
Downtown Huston, Texas               purchase date - 1994
Craig was in Jr high when he was "fixated" on the Nova 24 from magazine ads an expose's. Many years later he would get his opportunity to buy one. He is the third owner of this boat. It has twin Holman/Moody 302 Fords and Vee drives. According to Craig "the Boss awaits a restoration along with 3 wooden Century's". We know which one we would do first.

One close to home.
Owner-Jan F Stepanek           Year/builder 1970/Nova Marine          Hull# 2485
Pasadena, MD          Purchase date - 2005
Jan just picked up this Nova24 recently and plans on restoring it.
After seeing some of the work he has done to his other toys its going to be a beauty.
One from north of the boarder.
Owner-David Ivey         Year/builder 1970/Nova Marine            Hull# 2443
Port Rowan, Ontario, Canada         Purchase date - 2005
This Nova was sold to David as a 77 WellCraft.
After a little investigating and some help from
from friends he found out differently.
Brownie even said, "That's my old demo, I think, It obviously was finished at my shop before the sale."

I had to have it.
Owner-Robert Cort           Year/builder 1970/Nova Marine         Hull# 2449
Warsaw, MO           Purchase date - July 2007
From Robert, "When I first saw it, I knew I had to have it, even though the paint job was totally hideous.
I cannot believe how good of shape its in for a 37 year old boat.
Both the original engines are in it, they are twin 235 hp Holman-Moody 302's"

The fixed hardtop died in transit—a painful story, and only time will tell if it comes back.
